OBTAINING A LIBRARY CARD
A. McKinley County Residents
1. No Annual Fee
2. Adults must show identification (social security
card, driver's license, etc.) and proof of McKinley County residency (your
ID showing county residence, a letter received at your address through the
mail, a bill with your address on it, etc.)
3. Children between the ages of 5 and 16 must be
able to sign their own names. Parents are required to show
identification, proof of county residency, and will have to sign permission
for the child to have a library card.
B. Non-McKinley County Residents
1. Annual Fee of $10.00 (non-refundable) for each
card.
2. Adults must show identification (social security
card, driver's license, etc.)
3. Children between the ages of 5 and 16 must be
able to sign their own names. Parents are required to show
identification and will have to sign permission for the child to have a
library card.
REPLACEMENT CARDS
To get a replacement card, you must:
1. visit the Main Library's
Front Desk.
2. show identification (social security
card, driver's license, etc.) Children may use a school ID or have a
parent present with a valid ID.
3. pay a $1.00 replacement card fee,
which is non-refundable.
4. sign the back of the new library card and collect
it.
